you probably cant, these deals are usually for new customers only. but the lady is lying to you, and dont give AT&T a penny for a new phone, the price is always retail and outrageous, just get a phone on egay, either unlocked or AT&T

Hot? Warm? Acer Pentium M notebook $830 shipped

i have a similiar one.... the widescreen version but w/ the 705 chip... paid 1160$ for it a few months ago. the build quality is OK, the screen is very easy on the eyes, its not as bright as the fujitsu or sony screens.... but the battery life is also longer. I wouldn't say the avg battery life...

Costco LIFETIME warranty?

costco is great, took back a fake fireplace that was about ~400$, about 4 years old, the thing broke, but they sold it there for $270, with receipt they still gave us $400 back, plus they got good pizza and churros out front

Are laptop screens a little lighter on the bottom than top?

Hi, I've had this lappy about a month, an Acer 4000WLCi ... got it mainly for the price and battery life, but I notice the screen is a little lighter/brighter on the bottom than the top. One person told me this was typical... but he also worked at the shop, so is this true? any help would be...

laptop shoes a little uneven, is there something to put over it?

hi, I got an Acer 4001WLci last week and its a little uneven when its sitting on some tables. I looked at the bottom and the rubber shoes dont look exactly even, I was wondering if there is anything to throw on top of those to make it more flat, and if so where could I buy such a thing? thanks

Dell 700m v. Mwave custom centrino-based?

I called mwave today and they know NOTHING, telling me the battery life is 1-2 hours on all their laptops, but I dont think this is correct, anyone else have/used one of these and know the actual battery life? thanks

Dell 700m v. Mwave custom centrino-based?

thanks for the info, this appears to be the Uniwill one, as it is the only 12.1" wide barebone they have on there. I set up both w/ the same specs, and the toppc came out to be about $350 more... is it worth the risk to just go with mwave? as far as the HDD i know its 5400rpm, but not much...

Looking at two lappy's: The Dell 700m which currently is on sale (see hot deals) , and an Mwave Centrino. I put both to similiar specs, and the Dell comes to $1910 before 25% off - 447 - 200 rebate = $1232.50 including 2yr accidental / 2yr wty. The mwave comes to $1103 after upgrading it to...
