Chaintech FX 5900?

The gaming is great. I dont have any real games yet. It runs Unreal 2 at top everything, at 1024x768 flawlessly. Coming from the old p3 550 with the 32mb ragefury pro, it is REALLY stunning. In addition, it was nice to score 4700 on FFXI's bench, because I am interested in the game...

nvidia 5900 driver update question

Can someone tell me how one driver can power all the improved technology from the entry level cards that use the same driver? How can 'one size fit all'? I'll take a dumbed down answer or a techie one.. Thanks, Bruce

ahh.. that makes sense, the new Chaintech 5950 Ultra card looks identical to the 5900 I have. heh.... Wish I was swift enough with my computer to pump it up to that level. Bruce

performance of intel extreme graphics card

Well, they can't compete with the current offerings in the GPU market. However, I have read in.. I believe CPU mag, that the GFX chips from intel in generation 3 may stand strong against the GPUs of nvidia and ati, and the GFX4 may surpass them. I personally can't see that happening, but who...

UT2004 gameplay?

Is it just crazy run and gun online or is there any strategy and teamwork incorporated to help a victory? Whats gameplay like, and is it worth getting? I havent had a chance to play the demo, and im sure a few people here have. Bruce

I placed an order today for a new PC, and I wanted to go low on the video card. I chose the standard 5900 for my card. When I called to order (thank god I did) he told me they are almost out of 5900s, and they were going to replace them with 5900SE. Now, I dont do any flashing, overclocking...

Well, I have a strong understanding of audio, as I not only used to install 12v electronics into vehicles for a living, but I also won 5th place worldwide in car audio competition. I understand harmonic distortion, power, etc.. I just dont have any understanding of computer speaker...

I see that on average, a 5.1 non THX costs 200 dollars less than a THX certified system. Is the difference a mere level of sound fidelity and certification of such, or is there a differance that im missing? Are non THX 5.1 systems true 5.1, or is it just 5 speakers with sound, like, is there...
