    Worth going from E6300 to E8400?

    I had an e6600, which I sold on ebay for $147. I bought the e8400 for $216. Otherwise, I wouldn't say it was worth it.

    I'm no pro but : I have a P5B Deluxe bios 1226. XP pro (32bit) Corsair XMS DDR2 800 (pc2 6400) I just installed an E8400 (fsb 1333). I had zero problems. Both the Q6600 and the Q9450 have the same fsb speed, so you if you buy either one, you need the 1333 fsb. I would wait, get the Q9450...
