I want to learn to play the guitar

start easy, dont expect to be able to play hard songs within weeks. Take your time and most importantly, do it for yourself ;) and practice practice practice ;) I started one night over a few pints, never looked back. its ok to get private lessons, but if you do that, you are a spin off...
