I checked circuit city's website, there were 2 ads they had linked to (each with about 30 pages), I didn't see anything about doom 3 being on sale on either of them.
We keep getting low prices on 6800's, especially 6800GT's, which are then cancelled, and frequently the sellers refuse to give anyone the deal. Why is this happening so frequently?

And that's for UPS ground shipping. They list even more expensive shipping for faster methods.

The plain 6800's are pretty crippled. They're maybe 30% faster, in terms of frame rates, then the 5950's. But the 6800GT's are probably 100% faster than the 5950's.
Doesn't seem worth spending in the neighborhood of $300 for these cards.
