comparison of the 6800 cards

Lower clocked memory, lower clocked core and 4 less pipelines, taking it down to 12. Some people have had luck re-enabling the other 4 - doesn't always work though 6800GT is the best bang per buck card out ;) Steg

Those specs don't make sense. Either IBM and ATi have jumped a years woth of development or those specs are rubbish. Look at the top end apples - 2.7ghz - with watercooling as standard I think. So where on earth are IBM going to pull 3.2ghz CPUs from? Are they going to be able to run...

SONY PSP is a piece of crap

ATI X800XL or Nvidia 6800GT

6800GT all the way. As for company...stay away from Gigabyte and MSI. eVGA and XFX are good in my opinion. As for quiet - stick a Zalman VF700 on which ever card you buy. Steg

Which GF 6600GT

Interesting... I would recommend the XFX as the best of the lot. Interestingly the XFX also won top place in the CustomPC Mid-range card round up - both PCI-E and AGP. Ive also had 3 XFX cards in my time - all have been great Steg

THERMALTAKE TSUNAMI CASE.. IS IT WORTH $100?

Agreed, a blatant rip off. Trouble is ThermalTake got it right. Ive recently perchased one and it is a wonderful case. Yeh the toolless PCI mounting ports are annoying and had to be modified, and the fans are not that wonderful, so they need replacing. Sounds like Ive said far to much...

CF II Cards in Striped RAID???

Interesting idea. I saw somewhere that some made a 4gb RAID 0 array with 4 iPod Shuffles...that was amusing. No performance figures thou. Anyone got 4 large CF cards? I fancy trying to install windows on one. Steg
