Help getting RAID stuff off a hard drive.

Chad, reconnect the drives to the BX-133 mobo, go into the raid software and delete the array. You've known from day 1 that this is the recommended method and your first post implies that this is an option. Or have you already gotten rid of the BX-133? If so, good luck. Perhaps IBM offers...

I think you should consider reconnecting the drives and deleting the array. This method is the least likely to cause you further problems. If you used the ZAP utility, please post your results. Good luck.

RAID Woes

I suggest using a program that will make an exact duplicate of a partition. I use a program that came with one of my drives, so you may need to do a search for a similar program. Transferring files using Windows Explorer is not the best way to copy a drive. Windows tries to hide files...

I'm glad your array is working, CrazyJoeKuta. Don't fork out extra for the Platinum unless you are sure you need the LiveDrive box. You can always buy the LiveDrive (or a HoonTech version) later if you change your mind.

Fasttrak 100 cannot format my 2 harddisk on dos....

I'm not sure what you have tried, but first create the array in the Promise bios. Then fdisk and create partitions if desired and reboot. Now you should be able to format. If you have already tried this, please post back. Good luck.

Can't get my raid setup to work, please help!

Has the modded card ever worked? Can you try it in another system? I'm suspecting that the modification has been done improperly. Did you perform the modification? If so, please review the mod steps in order. It should be easy to correct. Good luck.
