Installing a new video card when old one doesn't work at all

need some help setting up network

Thank you for your help. I've followed the steps in the link you gave me and the steps in the file that came with the router but no luck getting it to work. I go to the router's configuration menus, select PPPoE (there are 3 possible settings, PPPoE, obtain IP automatically, and Static IP)...

I've searched through old threads to see if I could find help for someone else with the same problem, because this seems like a basic thing, but I couldn't find any so here goes... I have DSL at my apt, (bellsouth), and we have a d-link wireless router but with the westell DSL we have...

help, can't reformat HD

This is with my old computer, who was having horrible slowdown problems when WinXP was on it, the 30Gb HD was partitioned into about 10 and 20Gb parts. It actually ran XP fine but for reasons not relevent began having problems. So I decided to reformat it, and I didn't have my XP CD handy so...

Yes it is the same IDE cable as before... Any clue as to how to reset the bios on a dimension 8200? I didn't see taht as an option...
