Pretty sure you're wrong about that. I hear it from colleagues at work, and from so many people at the tech shows. Funny how myself, and those friends who have the S10+ and Notes don't have the same complaints...

I've had my 3900X for a while now, and was running it on an older Asus Crosshair VI Extreme mobo, with FlareX GSkill 3200C14 DDR4 ram. I was able to achieve an all core clock of 4450mhz for a while, and it ran all my benchmarks without problems. Then I tried to push it higher out of curiousity...

Sorry I can't share your enthusiasm for cd's or dvd's. My point wasn't that anyone couldn't use them, it was about why would they? There are tons of better options. I haven't had an optical drive in my sys for more than 15 years, and never once had even a minute problem because of it. USB...

Don't take this the wrong way, but I am of a very different mind on this. I prefer different drives, AND different partitions. I keep my data on completely different drives, because partitions can also get screwed up IF they are on the same drive. I've had it happen. So I have SIX different...

I don't even comprehend the reasoning of wanting a cutting edge sys, and then hanging on to old antiquated tech. Why still have an optical drive????????? Why hang on to sata drives?????? I can completely understand ONE hdd to be a large data drive, like 10TB. But that only needs one sata port...

Solved! Motherboard for Ryzen 9?

I've noted exactly what you are saying to be true in the past with Gigabyte mobos. But NOT with the X570 mobos. They have completely reworked the bios, and it is much, much, MUCH better than before. So I'm curious to know which boards you are referring to, as I've noted a huge change recently...

Actually I've been shopping online for almost two decades. Just NEVER had anything taken out of my cart before. I mean I've never left anything in my cart for days or anything like that. But as I said, this was only a few hours... Such is life.

Crazy-high Ryzen 3900X temperatures [solved]

Speaking of this (off topic) but I'm curious if anyone on here has tested the actual differences between Samsung Bdie and Hynex? Most of the ram tests I've followed show very little actual performance differences even between 3200mhz and 3600mhz, so I'm wondering what actual differences there...

Crazy-high Ryzen 3900X temperatures [solved]

Been using AIO's for more than four years now, and NEVER had any leaks, excessive heat or other problems with them. I've strictly used NZXT Kraken's, X62 and X72. I never hear them, and they have been excellent in performance. The only knock is the software sucks. But it's something I can live with.
