Gaming LCD

most people claim that 2-3ms refresh rates make the best gaming monitors, but I honestly disagree. I think my MVA panel is rated at 8-9ms and I don't notice any type of lag. I'd rather have better colors, viewing angles, and image quality than a couple milliseconds

What am I doing wrong?

Radeon HD 3850 vs. HD Radeon 4830?

I'm very happy with my 4830 so far. It's ran every game I've thrown at it with ease at 1920x1200 with max settings Tomb Raider Legend, C&C 3, TF2

Crossfire setup

I'm disappointed about this. 2 different video cards and none of them included the bridge. I've never done this before and have no idea how it works. I have both of my 4830's installed right now, but obviously it's not working. What do I need to get this working at the cheapest price? Asus...

Stupid question here

I'm trying not to wait for them. I know shipping will take until next week for one. I'm asking if the SATA cables, that comes with (branches off) the power supply, will power up my hard drive? I don't understand how this would work though because there's nothing going to the motherboard...

Stupid question here

The cheapest one I can find B&M is 19.99. I was hoping to get this thing working ASAP! I thought my motherboard may have came with a SATA cable, but open boxes from Newegg are hit and miss, and I missed!

despite what everyone is saying I think it's going to be a very good monitor for the price. Majority of the reviews are good with a few bad ones scattered in there. I picked one up too, but can't test it until next Wednesday.

it seems like most of them do? atleast based on the reviews I'm seeing and the older games don't need a super high powered GPU

Trying to make a build here, picked up a really good deal on an HD4830, so I'm debating on picking up another one. I'm gonna be picking up an E7400 and OC it, so the board needs decent overclocking abilities and crossfire supported. It will be a heavy gaming machine...

Building a computer, can't make up my mind!

well, I went with the Dell. I had the same build before and was happy with it with a lower end video card. The CPU and HD almost make it worth the value as it is. I forgot if I bought a barebones I'd have to go out and buy a keyboard and mouse too, so that'd be another $50 on top of it and...
