Video card blown MOSFET indicator

Hi all, so if one or multiple power MOSFETs fail on a video card, what happens? Just the power delivery is crappier or the whole video card stops? Thanks in advance :)

MOBO support for PENRYN

hi all, Just wondering, if a motherboard supports FSB1333 like E6550 Core 2 processors, would the motherboard automatically support penryn processors? I have BIOSTAR 965PT which I really really love and don't really wanna let go. The bios update to support FSB1333 was not from BIOSTAR...

WD RAID EDITION or Seagate 7200.10

Hi all, Just wondering, which of the two harddrives should I buy for RAID 0? I mean obviously 320GB 7200.10 is faster than WD3200YS but since I'm gonna be running RAID maybe getting WD is better for safety? Thanks in advance :)

Hi guys, I have in9 32x mobo but they don't come with 680i spp temperature meter like evga ones do. So I've been measuring my heatsink temperature with a probe. The thing is, northbridge never goes over 38 degrees and southbridge never goes over 36 degrees. I've overclocked to 472fsb and...

FBad e6550 chip?

Hm.. maybe you are hitting the cpu FSB wall? so 451 = POST and 452 = No Post? Then definitely CPU fsb wall.. had that once with my pentium E2140. I actually have E6550 and running at 475 FSB... 451 seems pretty low for 1333FSB cpu

MEMTEST 1.7 Question

Hi, thanks for the reply. I know EXACTLY what you mean BenchZowner... This happend when I had OCZ 2gb DDR500 3-3-2-8 Enhanced Bandwidth (one of the best, IF not the best DDR1 2GB kit).. Runs totally fine when running 250mhz but anything over 250mhz like at 260 passes memtest flawlessely but...

MEMTEST 1.7 Question

Hi all, Just wondering, which test out of all 10 tests in memtest 1.7 stresses the memory the most? Think last two is not included in the normal test routine. Hm.. if that's the case then out of 8 tests? Thanks in advance :)

Hi, thanks for the reply. Oh so there is no way of checking the chipset temperature? Man this is not good! So how does everybody else check to see if the heatsink is placed properly or the temperature is ok when overclocking? I dunno but everyones been saying 680i runs really really hot but...

Abit In9 32X-MAX 680i chipset temperature monitoring???

Hi all, Anybody who has abit in9 32x, what do you guys use for chipset temperature monitoring?? There is no temperature display for the chipsets in the BIOS, only voltage is monitored. uGuru doesn't say anything about the chipset temperatures either! What is going on???? Regards...

DOES 680i motherboard's max FSB change with different ram speeds?

Hi all, I was just wondering, does the max fsb change if you run linked 1:1 (or linked & sync'ed) instead of running ram through a divider (unlinked)? I'm currently running in9 32x max mobo at 460FSB running E6550 at 3220Mhz but running crappy generic PQI 5-5-5-18 DDR2 800mhz ram orthos...
