When will Dell refresh their XPS lineup?

Thanks for all the info! The 1060-1080 mobile lineup hard launched the day they were announced, so maybe a mobile 1050 is imminent? Then again, with all the FinFET-based GPU shortages maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up.

Hi all, Does anyone have a rough idea of when Dell might update their XPS lineup with Kaby Lake and Pascal? My brother is shopping for a laptop and I've recommended that he wait for the annual spec refresh. He doesn't mind waiting a few months, but I have a feeling Dell might wait until after...

Is Skylake worth waiting for?

I went ahead and placed an order for the XPS 13. I'm not planning on using the PC for anything particularly performance intensive (that's what my desktop is for), and since it already has solid battery life, I don't know how much of an advantage Skylake would give me.

Anyone excited for OnePlus?

I'm on the fence too. I can't justify spending $600-$700 on a smartphone as I'm not a particularly heavy user at the moment. I was eyeing the Moto G at $200 but ideally I want some kind of mid-tier device in the $300-$400 range. Like others I was waiting for the Nexus 6, but it priced itself...

Issues after monitor gone to sleep - Sapphire HD 7850

I also have a Sapphire 7850 and have exactly the same problem. The Windows power profile is set to "high." BTW, I built a new rig so this is on a fresh install of Windows. This only happens to me when the display has been asleep for an extended period so I'm almost positive it involves Zerocore.

Cleaning CPU and CPU cooler

I think that's what I did wrong the first time. I wanted to check to make sure that the thermal paste had spread properly and so lifted the cooler. Of course, when I placed it back on the CPU that probably introduced lots of air bubbles.

I'm getting inconsistent temperatures across the cores of my freshly installed 3570K (cooled by a Hyper 212 Evo) so I'm planning on cleaning off the CPU and reinstalling the cooler. Hopefully I'll do a better job of applying thermal paste this time to yield better thermals. I've read that...

I'm getting some massive differences in temperatures between the cores of my 3570K, sometimes over 10C. Is this normal or is it more likely that I misapplied the CPU cooler/thermal paste? Also, what should normal temps be at stock settings on idle using RealTemp? I'm getting around 20C on one...
