1.5-2-2-5 @261mhz some friends of mine ( some of those @extremesystem ) can reach 280-284 with 2-2-2-5 :)

Better way to check it, is to run a 1M test for instance, and see in the task bar if it uses the two cpu's on it. I doubt that super pi is SMP aware. Also, could you give us another pic of your system ? because that one doesn't show the total score of the calculations... :)

Just one heads up. The Super Pi benchmark is very memory dependent in quality and quantity. While on the 1M these two variables sometimes do not accours, when running 32M bench is well seen. Those who have faster ram will get a better result then the ones with slow memory, and those who...

Benchmarking linux?

I'm getting the same problems'.. only tool I have for it is Super Pi. Getting 28seg @2400mhz ( much less than at Windows XP ). Searching for others also...

Those are VERY RARE chips... Maybe with the improvement of yieldings things getter better. Right now, "normal" is 2550-2650, many are getting 2700, and some 2800. Period. To get over that some luck is in order and temps like the ones of that guy at 3100... :)

Do I benefit from expensive RAM if I only run at Stock speeds

Do you have numbers to backup what you are saying ? Can you elaborate more on this subject. I would be very much interested in hearing more from this two statments...

SuperPI Contest!!!

Super Pi is one of the benchmarks that loves Cpu Mhz + high FSB + high speed memory. That's why it is widely use for the comunity of overclockers to compare machines. I get 31seg with my 3000+@2620 with memory @183 ratio giving 262mhz @2-2-2-5 :) Also get about 28seg with 3000+@2430 on Linux...

Highest FSB on K8N Neo2 with BH-5 at 2-2-2-5?

None. Just a good ventilated box. Bh-5 where designed at the beginning to run at 3.3V, but then DDR2 came at 2.6V. The 3.41v were reading the vddr on the motherboard with a multimeter. OCZ Booster shows 3.4 on the display.

Sorry for jumping in late. Yes, i'm running now a Booster. With the P4C800 for P4 I did a vdimm mod because it was real easy, but with the MSi it's a little bit trickier. You don't need to have great power. You could run the bh-5 with 166 or 133 dividor on BIOS, but loosing some...
