*HELP* Cisco 4006 Switches (easy question 4 u's)

Hi, im a total newbie with networking and all, anyway does the above switch come with any 10/100 ports, or does it just come with the case, processor and empty modules which i have to plug modules with ethernet ports in.

Where's the cheapest 17inch LCD monitor?

hmmm, average price is around $400us. Or should i just buy a 17inch flat CRT, any suggestions?

Quick question on monitor replacement cable...

u can buy a number of ferrite cores from electronics stores and snap it on, they cost about $9AU. I say buy the 15ft then stick a ferrite core on it if you really want to.

duron 750 + a7v133c = 52°c (125°F)

Hi, ive got this setup with a bloody LOUD global win FLOP-38, with some cheap thermal paste. Whys it soo hot, room temp is about 17°c (62°F) There goes my hopes for overclocking, especially with a good mobo and fan :( ps. asus probe shows 52°c (125°F) but bios shows 32°c pps. getting quite a...

Hi, these are sellin for $26au, the description just says FOP-32 but im hopin its the revised one (FOP-32-1). If it isnt should i still get it? Ive heard the original FOP-32 wasnt meant for socket a's, is this true? Thanks. Hurry! im gonna buy it in 14 hours unless someone tells me not to.

i think that was just a once off, now that security at airports are beefed up terrorist wont dare try another hijacking. They'll probably resort to other methods like planting bombs in buildings, or drivin a van into the heart of the city packed full of explosives. What needs to be done is...

CPU% usage when the PC is idle 40-50%??

heheh, i had the same problem a while back ago. When idle it was about 21% but when i moved my mouse it jumped down to about 1%. search the threads and you'll find out that its a problem for win98 users and is not a rare one too. ps. ive got win98se, and still have found a solution besides...

EZ Dual Cam OR EZ Cam Pro

i need a digital camera to take pics of stuff to sell on ebay, i cant afford a dedicated one so im going with one of these. The Dual cam is $25 more than the Pro, and can be a portable dig cam. Has anyone had experiences with either webcams? which one should i go for? thanks.

What do you know about the people living in Afghanistan?

i hear that the women have to cover their faces with towels or whatever, or they will be shot dead by their own people!. Also men can have multiple wives. I suggests this presents a weekness for the taliban. All we do is send in SEALS discuised as women to infiltrate afgan.

Question for Electrical Engineers

ok, ive tested it and it works fine. The output voltage is higher than if i had used the same setup for the LM317, current is 1.89A at no load which is higher than its rated 1.5A.
