My preliminary look at Prolimatech Megahalems on Core i7 860 and P55-UD3R

I got a megahalems for my i7-860 and two scythe s-flex G's. I tried putting them in a push pull but the amount of noise was ridiculous? Its was humming and making a high pitched noise kinda like it was making a vacuum. If I only use one of them its normal sounding. Does this sound right...

Intel G2 SSD running in PIO mode - SOLVED

WD AAJS & AAKS different DMA modes ?

I have my evga 7800gt co overclocked to 480/1200 from 470/1100 and im getting temps on load of about 62 degrees is this okay??? or is that to high.

Temperature Question on Opteron 170

Well you have to figure like +3 degrees would get added when i put the side of the case on probally and yea its pretty cold in the room, its in my basement and we dont use the heater on the one side of the room cause of all the wires from the computers, hehe

And from looking at your system, it doesnt seem u own a opteron, so id rather get my advice from someone who actually is using one in there system.

Dude know need to be a wiseass, I have heard many people on this board say they are using the X2 driver(and when i look below to see there system it says Opteron) so I just wanted to clarify. Because from what ive read it seems they arent using the Opteron driver.

Opteron 170 Retail vs. OEM

Is there any advantage is overclocking performance by getting the one over the other, can you still get a good stepping if you get the retail version or is it best to go with the OEM version? Im not really concerned about price.

Memory Overclocking - DDR460 vs. Better Timings

do the higher voltages just enable me to get the fsb up higher for the memory? or will that help enable me to lower timings more?
