Agree'd but if your strickly using NAT then your computer is vulnerble anyway, NAT isn't all that secure. You should be running a firewall anyway. For my secure FTP I use Smoothwall anyway, I don't worry about ports scans and hacks, so it didn't come to mind to mention. Sorry didn't address...

I use Serv-u also. Don't have a single problem, serv-u sets itself up pretty well on install. I don't have a DLink, I use Linksys but should be the same. I had to make sure the computer my ftp was on was in the DMZ. This opens the FTP up to outside. Should be instructions with the router on...

Buy a KVM dude, clean your room, maybe then your subwoofer will sound good regardless where you put it.

Radeons: 7000/7200/7500/8500? huh?

tv card,can i use a splittter from my cable modem?

cox or roadrunner usually put a filter on the TV side so that the data doesn't mess up your tv or vice versa. Sometimes them guys put it on the wrong side and your internet don't work. Anyway it works for you great.

go to the game web site it will tell you, and the port won't be setup in the router it will be setup in the game. I don't play starcraft anymore so I haven't been to there site, but Tribes has there answer in FAQ and how to set up a server. I agree with DaiShan, router tech support can't help...

Another floppy drive weirdness - please take a look

try on a third machine if it available. Did you format in desktop first or laptop first. Did you clean both floppy drives. Where the old disks formated or used prior on your laptop. More info...... But just from what you said sounds like you have a miss aligned head on one of the floppy...
