converting laptop keyboard

i have a dell inspiron 8600 laptop keyboard and i like the feel of laptop keyboard better than desktop keybaords.. is there any way to use this keyboard with my desktop ?

I got the Dell 19" FP1901 with free overnight shipping for $285.95 as my substitute. I checked the online status and the estimated ship date is Nov. 28 :D

this monitor has crap refresh rates.. only 75hz at 1280x1024.. it should be atleast 85hz.. and at 1600x1200 it goes 65hz...
