In XP I can easily find which process the virus is when I load up taskmanager. But with Vista, they hide some process from view. My question is, is there any Software that is Vista compatible that will show me what file is using up my CPU since a virus scan doesn't come up with anything.
It's the latter and it's also something I would like to learn in order to do it for home built systems and perhaps for my clients as well.

I recently purchased a laptop at BestBuy and it did not come with system restore disks. Geek Squad wants to charge me $30 to create restore disks for me. How do I go about doing this myself? Does anything know what software Geek squad uses to accomplish this?

I'm wondering this since flashlights for example won't be as bright if you use rechargable batteries rather than alkaline due to the lower voltage. Is it a technological hurdle that we can't design 1.5 volts rechargables to replace the environmentally unfriendly alkalines?
