IHell with my IPod

Check to make sure ipodservice is running in task manager. If it is, try closing itunes, killing the ipodservice process, then reopening itunes. Sometimes my itunes will start not seeing my ipod, and this always fixes it for me.

Quick question about 802.11g and Wi-Fi

Centrino is the platform name of Pentium M and an intel wireless chipset. So if it says Centrino then it definitely includes wireless support. This means you can definitely get on access points.
