Is this combo of $830 i7-4770k & asus z87 worth?

And is h100i a good cooler ? I would personally go for a big air cooler like the Noctua NH-D14. Maybe it is old fashioned but I believe it to have quieter fans and should be more reliable over the long haul though it might be harder to move around if you plan on moving a lot.

What is your oldest working cpu

Why is there still a price premium for socket 939 dual cores?

ya, I was also thinking of throwing a cheap dual-core into my single-core 939, but it looks like a lot of other people had the same idea too...It looks like AMD could have made a lot more money just by keeping the 939 socket running a bit longer. At any rate, you can get a cheap intel board...

is my RAID killing my system throughput

XP 64-Bit vs 32-Bit --- Any benefits with overclocking?
