Illegal or not, software such as this freely available on WinMX, Morpheus, and other such P2P programs... ;) Given the age and obselescence [sp] of DOS 6.22, you could probably get someone to give it to you free... LOL, I would if I had a copy :) try posting a thread in the FS/FT forum that...

XP Home & VIA Chipsets

Interesting situation. Driver conflicts on the chipset would be my suspect. If you check out the manufacturer websites, you may find drivers for those specific mobos. Are you installing the via 4-in-1 drivers that come with the mobos? New versions come out all the time, and you can download...

Do you think This Hardware could cut it with XP Pro?

You should be fine running XP Pro. You have a decent processor and a good amount of RAM, and I believe the recommended minimum is a 300 or 400 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM. Personally, I would be sure to disable all those "XP" visual extras to improve video performance since your video...

Sports Authority lifting sets VS Gym

dual chanel ddr

It is my understanding that in order to use dual channel, the DIMMs have to be Identical (same make, same model, same size and speed) or the motherboard will not enable dual channel mode and simply recognize them as regular DIMMs.
