trouble w/ Adelphia cable & wireless

I'm using Adelphia cable and a D-link 524 wireless router. Using an Apple Powerbook plugged directly from the cable modem into the ethernet port of the Powerbook, I am correctly assigned an IP address and I get internet access just fine. Using a Dell laptop or the D-link wireless router...

how to connect compaq 2800t to TV?

my compaq 2800t has an s-video out, and my TV has the white/yellow audio/video inputs. I cant find the cable that i need at the store... am I just not looking hard enough, or do i have to get something special? Any ideas appreciated... Thanks, Chris

College Basketball fans - ESPN Top 10 just released on SportsCenter

Nah it's not shocking that Duke's #6... what've we got... 1 senior, 1 junior, 1 sophomore, and 2 freshmen starters. And of course, the freshmen have yet to prove themselves... the ACC should have some close games this year.

Comments on cellular providers in raleigh/durham?

I'm moving to durham, nc in about 2 weeks to start school and i was wondering if anybody has any comments on cell phone providers in the area? Specifically i'll be on the duke university campus, so if anybody has any comments about coverage i would definitely appreciate it.

Ok, after trying to decide between the Dell i8200 and the Compaq, it looks like the Compaq is probably going to end up winning. Here's my question though -- Compaq's page says nothing about battery life. What's the average battery life on the Compaq? Second, if I were to buy a 2nd battery...
