What about those new big curved NEC/Alienware DLP projection monitors coming? They look sweet for games and movies. DLP was always a tech I wamted (big screen sizes, relatively thin, no burn-in from gamers, nice image quality, cheaper). Are there any other DLP PC monitors? Just google NEC or...

I would buy the NEC 20WMGx2 too, but that monitor seems to be sold out and discontinued. Anyone know where I could get one in the USA? It would make for a great second monitor to a NEC2490.

Easy. If your on PC, buy AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. Totally worth the money. Every cent. Pair these programs with Roxio Easy Media Creator. Done. If your on the Mac, you can use MacTheRipper, and Roxio Toast.

Thanks Squidmaster for the info. For your issue, I have read that the MacBook Pro is now backlighted by LEDs, and is the best for reading text, and that effect is best with glossy screens. The panel can go lower in brightness, yet still remain more white, than the other kinds of backlights...

Squidmaster, does the DoubleSight feel as cheap as it looks to me? Remember, I am spoiled by Apple Cinema Displays. It's not that I don't dig the DoubleSight DS263N's panel, it's the cheap plastic looking thing that houses it. Especially that stand. It's like a hot girl in Kmart clothing...

I keep reading, but I can't find a better option than the DoubleSight 26". Perhaps one of the nicer 24" S-TN panels would be a good buy for me, but then you have poor viewing angles. However, if you want low input lag, and want single link DVI for your PS3, that's all that is out there right...

New iMacs today!!

Don't get the lower GPU! It has been long in the tooth for a while now. Get the upgraded Nividia. Get the 24", as it is an SIPS panel. The 20" is a TN.
