Question for all you SCSI users!!!

How big of a real world difference is WideUltra2 compared to Ultra160. What benchmarkling utility do you recommend using to benchmark SCSI drives? (SiSioft, HD-Tac, etc...) Any info would be great. Thanks

Epox 8K7A and SBLine problem!

Wheete, I do not have that board, but there should be an option to turn off the onboard audio in the bios. If not there should be a jumper on the board. So you might want to take a look at your manuel. All the other options (onboard legacy audio disable or enable?, soundblaster on or off...

SB Live Value and Gigabyte 7IXE4 need help, LAN PARTY TOMORROW!!!

Kyguy, I heard that some people have some luck when they just install the SBlive drivers, not Livewire. If that does not work, try to turn of SB16 emulation in your device manager. Also, try to make sure the the SBlive gets a slot with its own irq if possible. hope it helps late

Abit KT7-RAID powerup problem

Set you ram settings in the bios to "Turbo". This solved that problem for me. Hope it helps. Later,

Abit KT7 issues

Make sure your RAM is in DIM 1, and set the each DIM to "turbo" in the Bios. I had the same problem. Hope it helps. Later,

The FastTrax program is basically the same thing. I am using the Det 3 drivers from Nvidia web site. Also, I have installed the latest VIA 4in1 drivers (AGP and inf driver). Any recommendations?

FastWrites on Abit KT7 RAID - How do I enable them?

Whom it may concern, I have the "FastWrite" option supported in the Bios, but according to my FastTrax (freeware from Creative)director, it is not enabled. AGP 4x and Sidebanding work, but not the fastwrites. Running Windows ME on a fresh install. Any Suggestions? Thanks,
