BIOS settings I used on my Gigabyte DS3 + E6400

What does the memory multiplier do? I have to set mine at 2:1 for it to overclock and boot. It says 720 memory frequency. What does that mean?

EIST and Conroe - Benefits?

I'm overclocking my Conroe 6400 with Gigabyte DS3 motherboard to 2.9 ghz. If I have EIST enabled, I see that it runs at idle at 6X multiplier, to 2.1ghz, but ramps to 2.9 ghz at load. Does having EIST enabled, ever really slow down the computer to me? Or is the computer just as fast and...

Oh well I ordered the following last night: -Gigabyte DS3 -1GB OCZ DD2-800 Timing: 5-5-5-10 Voltage: 1.9V 2x512MB -Seasonic S12-500watt -ATI 1800XT -Antec Solo Quiet Case -Along with my Conroe 6400 I hope this works well for overclocking. I guess I should pick up a new CPU cooler...

LOL You cheater. Please benchmark on cheaper memory that us poor people can afford. I want the cheapest DDR2-800 memory possible that will get me to 3ghz on the retail 6400 and the Gigabyte DS3 with full stability. Thanks!!
