yeah i'd go with the A64 and 9800 pro instead. also if you're gonna be playing HL2 and Doom 3 and the like on this system i'd definitely go with 1 gig of ram instead of 512 mb. the games coming out now are memory hogs and take up a lot of ram.
yep you can try selling it here on the for sale/trade forums or on eBay. if you really want to go with the full size graphics card like a 9800 pro and since that's probably a microATX case you should make sure the card will fit first. you also would most likely need a AGP/PCI riser card as well...
i've heard some people remove all the keys then clean it with dishwashing soap and water and then put all the keys back after drying. sounds a bit tedious though unless you want it thoroughly cleaned.
hehe, with all this talk about this fan cooled mouse maybe we should get one and benchmark it. put a thermal sensor on your palm and take before and after temps.
yeah, it's nice to see AMD moving up a bit now. they definitely have tough competition against Intel but it's true, AMD is starting to make profits across all their product lines especially from their flash ram division whereas Intel is struggling with some of their platform processors.
hmm...i'm not sure i'd even try benchmarking unless i had a really fast gaming system. have you thought about upgrading your video card to something like a geforce4 ti? you'll at least be able to play your current games at a higher resolution.
