Dell Truemobile 1300 "G" card

Has anyone had any expirence with Dell's 1300 true mobile 802.11b/g card, I read someare that the "G" standard was inoperable, could someone please advise if possible. Thanks in advance

I went for the WXGA+ wich is like 1650x1280 i think.

ya this laptop isn't the main gaming rig, just a portable to maybe play a lil games now and then (MOHAA),(BF1942),(Warcraft) all play very well IMO.

I just got my Dell 8600

Got it on friday and in the process of playing games and running the benchmark, will post shortly. I seem to be able to play MOHAA, and Battlefield with no promblems with 2 AA and 4 AF, with settings in both games maxed out. the only thing that i dislike is the screen size, when playing games...

Am I the only one...

...MEH, i won mine at a LAN, and it seems to move a lot of air. And it has a light in it, so thats cool???

I always wanted a high end, top of the line PC...do I have it now?

u NEVER have a top of the lione PC as soon as u come close, something else is released, that makes urs old...:-(

Can only upgrade one thing

its real hard to say but u really cant do much with the processor rather it be slot or socket celeron, whatever u spend, u can prolly spend the same and get a brand new CPU (AthlonXP) or something of the sort. So if he just wants to do the BF1942 thing, i would just go with the video card idea...

Dell Inspiron 8600

Mines Been in the Production Stage since september second and its supposed to arrive by approx. 29th. As soon as i get it i will post comments and reviews. Inspiron 8600 1.6 Ghz Pentium-M 512 RAM 128 MB Geforce FX 5650 60 gig HDD (7200 RPM) Win xp PRO 15.4" WXGA+ DVD-R-RW- etc, etc...

I Just Ordered a Dell 8600 w/ 1.6 Ghz Pentium M, 128 MB 5600 FX, 512 ram, 60 gig HDD, win xp pro, blah blah blah. As soon as i get it i will be sure to post all of my scores and reviews for ya'll.

RAM Recommendations

Dude, You can never go wrong with corsair, and if you are really into gaming just spend a little bit more and get XMS man. Thats just my opinion though...

Uh OOOhh!

I think I speak for everyone when I say "You've been hacked". I dont know how a virus of that caliber could have got past your virus scanner. The only thing I can think is flash the bios, using a boot disk and then reformat your drive(s). If that doesnt work you may have to contact your board...
