What CPU will be LIMITED by a GF3??

Well that's true of course BFG10K, but I think you know what I was trying to say. With the exception of FSAA where settings around 800x600 seem to be a performance/quality sweet spot, I think it would be a fairly safe assumption that most people who originally had the money to invest in a GF2...

Well nobody will have to worry about me rushing out and buying one of these when they first come out. The 'pimp daddy' card on my two systems is still a good old V3-2K@180. I didn't see a real need to upgrade with the latest generation of cards because they really couldn't do that much more...

I haven't had time to dive through all the reviews, but from reading a few of the comments here, it sounds like the GeForce3 is finally a major step up from the current generation. For the longest time, nearly any CPU over 800MHz has been overkill/limited by the current crop of video cards...

I'm in a similar boat. I just bought one for my brother, despite the fact that I knew they had been bought out. Whether or not you return it is really up to you and depends on your own circumstances. For my brother, I personally think that it will be a great card. He doesn't really care...

for pentium 233mmx system. which is fastest? Banshee, TNT or Rage 128?

I would also vote for the Banshee, but unless I'm completely off the mark here, doesn't the Banshee only come in AGP format? Besides, unless you know somebody that would sell you one for about $35 or less it would really be worth it to go ahead and get something like a Voodoo3 2000 PCI. It'll...

FSAA on the Radeon

Thanks for the feedback Fastrabbit. I figured the Radeon probably did fairly well across the board, but it's good to get real world experience. However, I'm still trying to decide between the V5 and the Radeon. Like I said, this card is actually for my brother and he lives about 150 miles...

I know I've heard of a problem with the VIA Apollo Pro 133A chipset for P3s (which I've also heard has a fix). But I haven't heard anything about any issues with Athlon based VIA boards.

Voodoo II with P200 MMX?
