Is this a 2 or 3 platter? I like the 640 GB cuz they're 2 platter. Something about 110 GB more for another platter (noise++) isn't terribly exciting. Anyone know?

Magnovox is not the US name for Philips. It is the 2nd-tier Philips line. Panels that may or may not make it for the 1-st tier lines along with cheaper electronics.

Creative are big a$$holes when it comes to drivers differentiating OEM boards and turning off features/software. So anyone with an OEM and a bit of knowledge could let us know if this is indeed a hot deal.
