Need some vaction help for a trip from Illinois to North Carolina.

NC mountains are awesome....billtmore estate? ashville and the blue ridge parkway are really cool, as are the beaches of NC. I live in NC...so i'm a little partial:)

They really should do that, like make it a national holiday or something where no one does any work....That would be freakin awesome. Or at least just cancel class.... (guess that doesnt really work for sunday......)

Dont mean to sound in love with microsoft here, but Bill Gates actually seems like a decent guy. Clearly microsoft has its problems, but for the most part i think they are trying to help people. Obviously they desire to keep their monopoly, but look at the BILLIONS they have donated to charity...

I haven't had fried chicken in so long...

Bojangles is by far the best chicken ever. If everyone had access to the chicken supremes dinner for 4.93 (at least here in Durham), there would clearly be world peace. Nothing can beat the Bo's fries or iced tea either.

Who here takes College Physics? (not a homework question)

Took the AP C class in high school, got two 5's on the exams. I go to duke, they dont like taking most of your test scores, so they dont take 5's for the C exam unless you pass ANOTHER exam given by the duke physics department. They also teach a lot of different stuff (fluids, thermo..) i'm in...

POLL: desktop or laptop for college?

I'm not sure which one the insprion is, but i have the latitude D500. I would highly reccomend this computer because its thin and light. Most of my friend computers are big, clucky and loud compared to this one, it might cost a little more, but its definately worth it. Also, i'm a college...
