You need to run the striped down console version. You can then just double click on the exe and it will run it's own process.

computer keeps rebooting now dead - cpu? -please help

Ok before I spend any more money, I have a 2.4C OC to 3GHZ and a asus p4p800 dlx. Computer yesterday kept on rebooting and rebooting. It would reboot between a few seconds to up to 1 minute and reboot again. Ok powersupply no problem, its was pretty old so I bought a Antec True 430. Ok...

Gamer asking LCD or CRT?

How about keeping the LCD and buying the CRT and having a dual monitor setup :) You will have the best of both worlds. :D

My trip through hell with ATI

My theory is that the Nvidia drivers are causing the problems with the ATI card. When I upgraded my GF3 to a 9800 I would get all sort of weirdness until I just reformated and installed with just the ATI card. Everything worked fine since then. You should also consider using a driver cleaner...

audigy question!

Don't forget the ZS :) That's the latest card and has 7.1 sound if you buy the speakers.

Best bet would be to check your local B&M. My buddy and I went there today and they had one open item left. So he picked it up for only $44.99 + tax. BTW the price tag on the self for the new Audigy 2 were $54.99. I didn't need one because I just bought the ZS a few days back, but man that...

Retail AUDIGY 2 for $74.99

Ok, went to Best Buy to buy the Audigy 2 for $79.99 today. I have a $50 gc so no pricematching. They also had the Audigy 2 ZS for $99.99. I couldn't resist the newer ZS. Thanks yunvme for leading me towards best buy. :) Upgraded from the orginal !Live
