Do not stay at an AirBNB, do not stay at the four seasons, do not stay anywhere except on the strip and preferably somewhere mid-strip. Just walk around and do whatever looks interesting to you. If you find that you want to change it up a bit, take an UBER or cab to downtown on Freemont street...

Premiums just shot up

I've been in healthcare for about 15 years. When I started, healthcare was actually free for employees. Within the past 7 years or so, it has gotten worse every year. 1 year the premiums will be the same but co-pays and deductible goes up, the next year the premiums go up. What was free 15...

Those who live in hot climates and use A/C

74. Phoenix AZ here. AC runs almost 24/7 in the summer with monthly bills around $350/mo. It's worth it though, never understood sacrificing comfort to save a little dough.

Same! Getting that InterAction magazine in the mail was like the best feeling ever. Very first game might have been Oregon Trail. First memorable game was Kings Quest 3 I believe, or maybe Leisure Suit Larry 1.

Family Member Advice

I'm looking for some advice. I have a brother who I'm afraid might be in a tailspin. He's 35, worked as a CNA for years and got fired last month for attendance and falling asleep at work. I paid his rent for December. He is now working retail for near minimum wage and is in poverty status...

4 players- best free MMORPG?

Have you looked into The Secret World? It's actually B2P and not a true F2P. It's pretty fun for a while, definitely something you can sink a few months into.

Top "INDIE" Games that you are looking forward to?

The Repopulation for sure. Sandbox MMO bringing back non instanced, seamless worlds. Pretty impressive stuff for an Indie game, not at all what I would have expected if someone told me about it without looking at the progress, graphics, and scope of the game. Due out 2014...

I have to ask....MMO's

If you're looking for an older school MMO that is open world, no instancing, player housing/cities, and a crafter driven economy, then give The Repopulation a look. It is an indie MMO coming out, but looks very good so far. Going into Beta soon. Since it's Indie, I can't say that it will...

Anyone else's health insurance change for the worse?

My health insurance has gotten worse almost every year for the past 4 years. Every year either the premiums go up or the deductible goes up and the co-pays go up. I get insurance on the cheap through my employer (healthcare), so I shouldn't bitch too much....but years ago it used to be free...
