Isn't the idea behind Distributed Computing to use the idle time on our computers to do some work toward a greater, larger goal. You can set up the client to run in the background and just forget about it, right. It's supposed to be as unobtrusive as possible. Your computer shouldn't slow down...
about $450 for CPU, MB, and memory from NewEgg. I kind of wish I had done this instead of my 2500 --> 3200 Barton with DFI LP IIB. I am only getting 12 WU's a day out of her.
