I've been doing business on ebay/paypal for a long time and this is the first time I am seeing my payment status as 'On Hold - Ship now'. Is this something new and that I am not aware of or what? Should I be aware of the buyer trying to pull something?
Just ordered GA-EP45C-UD3R & Q6600 from Newegg with plans to OC the Quad-Core Q6600 as much as possible. My question is this motherboard here supports both DDR3 & DDR2 so I would like to get DDR3 1600 or higher for it but I have heard there are some problems with P45 mobos & DDR3 especially...
I just connected my TV to Home Theater system with a 12ft Toslink audio cable, however at certain times when I am watching channels off broadcast HDTV signals, the audio comes a little later after the video. Any explanations? Is it because the length of the cable?

My power jack on the laptop is loose like so many others.....it's an old Sony one. I don't feel like taking it apart and trying to solder it back on. There are plenty of DC Laptop Repair services just googling it. I don't want to pay a bunch, can you recommend a service?
Thanks that's some relief! I think I will just burn it to a DVD and play it on there. I just though PC would be better since it is a higher resolution and may be using more pixels since my DVD will output it in 480p, where I can output higher resolutions through PC?
I recently got a new Samsung Plasma 50" and heard I should run a plasma burn-in dvd off the net first. So I turned it on and tried messing around with settings and such and hooked it up to my laptop through PC inputs hoping to run the burn-in file off of it. However, when I started it up...
There seems to be this software that I have issues with, it is called Shadow User. Basically removes all changes to your computer when in a session. Anyone know if there is a way I can disable it?
We don't allow discussions of circumventing access control restrictions. If this machine was...
Thanks for the info uli2000, but I believe she was referring to something else besides accessing voip service over the wifi? Anyone know of such a thing? In fact, it may not even be wifi, it may just be a service in that hospital if anyone knows of such services in limited areas such as...
So my sis was talking about getting a pda phone since she's a new resident at a hospital. I wanted to get her a pda phone; she was looking at the hp ipaq hw6940 or hw6945. She was mostly concerned about this supposed voice over wifi thing that some people do at her hospital where they don't...
My laptop supports TV-out via a 4-pin S-video cable. My TV has RCA inputs only so I did some research and found out I could do a 4-pin S-video to RCA converter and bought a cable off ebay. I tested the cable and all I get is a fuzzy output and a lot of static noise. I thought it was a bad...
My manual says the VGA output can be used for external projector or monitor and the S-video output can be used for TV-out to a TV, Projector, ETC. So I'm guessing I have to get an s-video to composite cable? Something like this since my S-video is 4pin...
Here's the cable, it doesn't have a stereo miniplug:

The best is this part which makes no sense at all to me:
I recently got a new Toshiba laptop with a radeon 200m chipset and it has VGA out and 4pin S-video out. I wanted to hook this laptop up to my TV with 3 RCA component cables. I looked on ebay and I see 2 different kinds of VGA to TV cables. 1 kind has the VGA to RCA with only 1 yellow video...
