Quick question on Linksys WRT54GS2 with DD-WRT (client bridge)

Essentally I did the setup to a client bridge to my wireless router. Everything works fine and dandy. My question is if I can hook up multiple computers to the lan ports on the back of the unit at the same time? Or do I have to configure something else for that?

you can disregard. I found a powershell script that searches and replaces a file.

Finding all instances of a file on a system and replace it with a new version

Basically, I want to find a file on all our users' C: and D : drive and then replace it with an updated file. Anyone have a VBS script or batch file on how to do this? thanks in advance.

Thanks for the message. I see the folder redirection settings in GPO but nothing is enforced. Also, we have offline files disabled on all the machines. One thing though, that under the properties for the MY Documents icon on the desktop, the buttons to change location / set default....etc are...

YAPoliceBeatingT: Authorities probe beating video of Maryland student

Supposedly a missing video that disappeared for a couple of weeks showed back up. The campus security lady that "found" the video again was one of the accused police officer's wife!!!!

Going to look at a way to possibly change the My Documents settings for all the users. Hopefully there will be an easy script or whatnot to run. Thanks again!! EDIT: I recall it may be a folder redirection GPO thing as well. Will have to check that too. (I think I remember our ex-admin...

Essentially, under a users' AD account profile, under their home profile setting, we connect it to z: as \\computername\\home\user. This is essentially their d: \home\user\ account on their local system (which contains their whole profile). Problem is, when they login when not connected to...

Thanks for all the info guys. For some reason systeminfo is blocked by polcy, keeps saying access denied. I found the jist of what they are trying to do. Essentially, we do a lot of updates when "no user is logged in" with SCCM. Since the packages only can't run with them logged in, we want...

WSUS clients not reporting in

I found this on how to enable proxy in SCCM. Maybe go into it and make sure it is not enabled? Also, I have seem to luck doing wuauclt.exe /detectnow as well ------------------------------------------------------------------------ How Can We Enable Basic Proxy Authentication On The...
