HALF LIFE 2 TROUBLESHOOTING/TWEAK THREAD!

Sorry if this is a dumb question but does any one know how to get 5.1 speaker config to work with Hl2? i have it set to 5.1 speakers in the audio properties in windows but in the game its set to 2 speakers. will the windows config take precdence over the Hl2 app? when i set 5.1 sound in the game...

Bought HL2, Installed HL2, Set up a Steam Account, NOT!!

Hye guys heres my problem. I purchased HL2 Bronze last night. I was fully installed and 100% updated. The problem is I forgot my password, so aftter trying to retrieve it, Steam says "Account Not Found". This is impossible as I just bought the game last night. Do you think my account has been...

Who's playing Half Life 2?

how can i backup the HL2 files to cd, or should i just get the cd set, because i woudl like to have a hard copy of the game that way i dont lose my game in case of a computer problem.

confused

HiDeAtHfInItIoN, i thought that the mobo bios autodetects the cpu voltage. what are the temps on your cpu or graphics card. what do the voltages on the p.s. rails read? try turning off fast writes and see how that works out. and yeah - and i would ease back on the volts on the GF6

Any way to check radeon 9700p temps?

i don't think there are any temp sensors on the 9700p, but i think you can buy one separately and rig it up to the GPU heatsink and use an temp monitoring app/external bay lcd thingy to check the 9700p's temps.

Eh what the hell...UPDATED WITH CARD IN COMPUTER

Hi there, I just got my 6800 LE yesterday. i went ahead and uninstalled the old drivers and then downloaded Forceware 66.81. installed the card and drivers,i also installed rivatuner 15.2 and discovered that all 16pipes and 6v were unlocked. at the beginning after freshing installing the card...

A64 3500 running with a Radeon8500 64MB Vid?

with that video card i doubt you would get any playable frame rates even at 800x600 resolution and med quality settings in most modern games.

Concern on my power supply

Hi. I have the Enermax 460 watt and an eVGA 6800GT non-ultra and it runs perfect. I have yet to try OCing though

Looking for a cheap, yet worthwhile case

are you looking for a case with a power supply, or without one? The Chenming midtowers are nice and some of the Aspire turbo cases come with power supplies all under 60 bucks. Or you can purchase a psu separately to suit your system.
