I don't wish to hijack the thread but having the x38 mentioned deems a question from me. What was the price of the high end p35 chipsets when the first came out to give me an idea of what the x38 might cost.
Like some others have commented that its not for those who build their own rigs. I see how it can be thought as useful. 4 gigs would have made it that much better.
I need recommendations for a motherboard for the q6600 processor. I heard p35 and 680i are both the boards for gaming. P35 being able to use DDR3, which I won't be using anytime soon but I like to have the option to upgrade to it sometime in the future when prices drop, but I like 680i for SLI...
