BF2 Installer/Uninstaller not functioning

It happens with me too except I'm trying to install the demo. Right when it starts I guess copying files it just quits/crashes.

noob question...where on this picutre is the cpu voltage?

Aren't you overvolting the CPU (if it's Venice) at 1.8Ghz? Lower CPU VID Control to 1.425 and set CPU VID Special Control to 110%. I have my 3000+ Venice at 2.61Ghz on my Ultra-D easily. :D

This is most likely a dumb question but...

Of course it's possible. They're actually some of the better overclocking CPUs. :) I've had my 2600+ Mobile for 2 or so years now and it runs great. I can get it up to 2.6Ghz (default is 2Ghz). On a side note, motherboards do not recognize the actual chip type. My "fail-safe" CPU speed is 600Mhz. :D

What PS for my soon to build rig

XClio 450Watt and I have my 3000+ Venice OCed to 2.61Ghz. Also running 2 optical drives, 5 case fans, X800XL, and a SATA 250GB.

Athlon 64 3000+ 939 OEM

Just came UPS today. I have mine at 2.61Ghz (290x9) @ 1.425V with 110% on the next option (forget the option) on the DFI NF4 Ultra-D. That isn't even it's highest! :D I'm sooo pleased.

x800xl overclocking help

My screen started tearing at around 442Mhz. I replaced the crap heatsink/fan with a Zalman VF700-CU.
