Hard Drive problems

I went into administrative tools and tryed to allocate the rest of the space for another partition, but it did'nt see it, I even used the Seagate tools cd and it would'nt see the rest of the drive. Anyone encounter a problem like this before

Ipod vs Creative

One thing nobody's mentioned... The ipod does not have sound quality greater than 128kbps MP3's and does not support OGG or FLAC. There is a HUGE difference between 128 and 320 kbps mp3s, and for that matter, OGG and FLAC. This fact alone should deter anyone that has more than a passing interest...

get the chaintech 7.1 as it has better music and dvd quality than the ZS but it is much cheaper. Definitely do not get Live! as they are much worse. I think the Audigy Value is based on hardware older than the ZS, but even if it was'nt the chaintech would be a better choice. One of the...

Logitech Z-5300 or Altec Lansing MX5021?

I still have to get a sound card though, I'm pretty much decided on an Audigy 2 ZS Because I game a lot, but to anyone who does'nt game, I say get a chaintech 7.1 as it is only 27$ shipped at newegg and is a teeny bit better than an audigy for music.

I love my logitch's Z-5300. All logitechs have excellant uniformity wheras altec emphasizes loudness by increasing bass and treble at the expense of mids. The z-5300's interestingly can get to VERY low volumes with no distortion and are still very crisp. Just get the z-5300's if you have room...

2x512 or 2x1 Gig ram

I have an Athlon 64 3200+, socket 939 with Av8 Mobo. I currently have 2 sticks of 512 pc3200 in it. I have been thinking about upgrading and adding 2 more 512 sticks, but have heard this might reduce speed. Is this true? Would Simply getting and using only 2x1 Gig sticks be at least as fast as...

well for uber-hapiness, you would want 5.1 surround, a mx-1000 and a good sound card

Hmm, well my speakers are logitech z-5300's that I got from compusa for $100 even though they MSRP for $200. I guess I now should choose between the turtle beach santa cruz and chaintech 7.1, although they both are about the same price and people say that they are both about as good.
