Did the OP even actually look at the benchmark? In the ray tracing heavy levels like Rotterdamn, the 2080ti is 30fps faster than a Titan V. That is a significant difference. If anything, it shows how helpful the RT cores actually are, considering the Titan V has much more tensor cores and cuda...

And you are intentionally refusing to understand my point, those "tricks" like the mirror projection from Unreal 1 aren't used anymore because they don't work as well as they do back when things were simpler. Thus the rendering technology needs to evolve, otherwise you should be perfectly happy...

Sorry, but you have to be completely daft to think the mirror tricks employed in those game screenshots are comparable to any form of real time ray tracing. The fact that you keep stating "it too reflects pixels" when NO REFLECTION CALCULATION is going on reinforces this baffling ignorance makes...

It goes to under 70 all the time, depending on the game I'm playing. Like Metal Gear Solid 5 at 4k everything maxed I can't hear any fan noise. Temps are in the low 60's in that game. Battlefield 5 / Shadow of the Tomb Raider temps are 72 to 76. Fans never exceed 80%, in fact only hits 80% if...

Asus Dual RTX 2080Ti, uses reference PCB. No issues whatsoever. Temps never exceed 76 using a custom fan profile. Max fan speed is 80%.

Where are you getting this is "fully reflected"? It's just a projection, not even real time. Easy to do when you don't have any actual dynamic lighting to work with and just procedural textures. Even 2D games had this kind of "reflections" back then. Did you even stop and think about how...

And make the same mistake 3dfx did? When you buy from AIB's Nvidia still makes money as if you bought from them. The strain of manufacturing goes to the AIB, not Nvidia, freeing them to focus on just designing their chips.

So when the hell do we see actual reviews with benchmarks with actual games? We have to wait 30 days for September 20th? Is that why they have "pre orders" up now, to get people's monies now without actual reviews first? You'd think there would be at least some samples given out for review purposes.
