DVD rw & CD rw

I am looking to buy an internal optical drive with DVD-/+RW/CD-/+RW capabilities and am looking for some recommendations. I have a Dell Latitude D630. I would like to be able to burn both CD and DVD. Which one and where to purchase?

Prescott, Intel 915PBL, and Zalman question

Same mb with 3.4. Idle temp depends a lot on room temp. Mornings my room is cooler and idle at 42/42 C and late afternoons may idle 46/47 C. Under load maybe 52/53 C. I have a XP120 on mine.

Question about Firefox

I have two computers with Firefox 1.0.4 on them. On the one my son uses when you click on a topic and read it and return to the forum, the topic changes to a dark color to indicate you have read that topic. On my computer, the topic does not change colors. It looks like you never read that...

Adding 2nd HD??

Adding 2nd HD??

When I put the system shown below together, I did not install the Raid drivers that came with MB, as I had not thoughts of putting in another HD. I ran across a really good deal on another Seagate 160 HD just like the one in system, and am considering installing for backup of my C drive as well...

Update P3 computer

My son's computer is a p3 intel mb 933, 133 bus, 256 cache w/ 3 256k mem chips. Mb doc's say it will support a 1.2 133bus 256 chip. He has a friend trying to sell him a chip for $45. My question, will he notice a big change going from 933 to l.2? Thanks

Need new hs/fan for prescott.

I second the xp120. Just put one on mine and dropped cpu temps 7-8 C, now idles at 40-41 and only hit 53 using intels stress test.

New Case

Just received my PC7B-Plus today. Can't wait to get it put together. Has 4 120mm fans. I should be able to move some air and cool this P4 3.4.
