Having trouble with my i5 4670k recent upgrade

try turning off the "green mode" power saving mode that de-clocks your cpu when it's not being stressed to the max.

Worthy upgrade from 2600k yet?

I still use a i7 2600k. There isn't much to upgrade to these days anyways, 3770k is just a die shrink version of it, and haswell is barely any improvement over sandy/ivy in terms of performance. Until skylake comes out, I'm not interested.

is this a good deal for an i7 laptop $549 @ MC

Are i7's really necessary on laptops? both i5 and i7's on laptops are duo cores with HT, and both aren't really up to par with desktop cpu's for video editing anyways.

I wouldn't doubt it. They couldn't keep up with the GTX680 inventory for months when it released. If their new flagship cards prove to be great for mining, then I would presume it will experience the same R9 290/290X drought we're having now.

Game crash/monitor lost signal while playing borderlands 2 just now

My screen goes black when I minimize then proceed to maximize my STEAM games and Crysis 3, But I never lose connection. It's odd it happens, and I never figured out why, but my other monitors still work. I always end up having to ctrl+alt+del and force close and reopen it. Seems more like the...

Pc monitor vs HDTV gameplay using hdmi?

In gaming, I can't really tell. But if you're reading text, it's quite noticeable and annoying on a HDTV. it does blur when you scroll. DVI is always the way to go!! :D

HD 7870 or GTX 660 overkill for gaming at HD resolution?

For your resolution sake, I would probably pick the GTX660. Shadowplay is always nice to have. But if you ever plan to upgrade to a monitor of the 21st century, meaning 1920x1080 or higher, the HD7870 pulls ever so slightly ahead.

Is this combo of $830 i7-4770k & asus z87 worth?

that's some expensive ram... get some generic 1600/1866 speed rams for half the price. but I can't say much for the cpu/mobo since I don't know how much is "regular price" where you live there. I'll just make that educated guess by the currency (rupees) you listed. i7 4770k's can be found for...
