Bricked my 290x.... any hope?

UPDATE: Issue is resolved. Powersupply was the problem child. Replaced with a new 850, and card works fine in the machine again. It also resolved some other issues I was having with the machine, like it not posting on the first power press, etc.

guys I've had my 2MH miner pointed at clevermining for the past 3 weeks and haven't really kept up with the scene lately. Can someone tell me if I am missing anything by just multipool mining and not staying up to date on all the new coins?

So I installed Stilts Bios on my 290's and 290x. On the 290x, after some slight tweaking I went from 885 khash to 949 stable. Also of note if I bump the voltage way up I can get 1.04 M hash out of the thing.. but temperatures skyrocket. On my 2 290's, I went from 890khash to 935 stable on...

It's not fragmenting any sort of a market. It's not mandatory, and AMD will not switch to mantle only. Fragmentation represents a situation where one is exclusive to something, and this isn't the case. If a developer wants to support it, great. If not, fine too.. but options are never bad...

So funny to read some of the negative comments in here. You can easily expect anywhere between a 5-50% improvement. You guys are the same people that will overclock, and configure settings for hours to get 2-3 more FPS... and yet AMD is giving you more.. much more.. to you completely free...

I fine tuned them for hours today. Overclock wise I am at 1025/1450 with +30 power limit stock voltage in afterburner. If I go higher then my drivers crash at this voltage. My 290x on the other hand works better downclocked to 950/1250. If I increase core on it hash drops rapidly... no idea why...
