Using a USB flash drive instead of a HD

I heard that a flash drive can only read and write so many times before it wears out. Is this true? If so, will this work bonic?

Quad core for $266 in July (hopefully). Lets see some CHEAP crunching builds?

I always buy my CPUs at mwave. They're always way cheaper then anyone else, and free shipping. They had stock yesterday, but they seem to be out today. Q6600 for $279

Highest RAC Computers on TeAm AnandTech - Rosetta@Home

A q6600 @ 2.8 GHz (310x9) stock volts on a DFI P965-S Dark with 2 Gb @ 4-4-4-12. This air cooled with a Thermalright Ultra 120. I can't get any higher, so I think I might have to go back to water cooling.

New mobo won't post. . . WAS: Rosetta cruncher died over the weekend - looking for nforce2 mobo.

I also have 2 Abit NF7-S mobos I don't use anymore. I need to stop being lazy and put us a FS/trade tread for the TeAm.

Rosetta@Home: Got my hopes up

I've been hit pretty hard with stuck WU. 5.06, and now the 5.07 clients have been running very smooth so far. :cool:

OT: Well kinda, but affects my R@H output

In your BIOS, make sure K8 Cool And Quiet is disabled if your cpu fan is pluged into the mobo. This will make the cpu fan spin at 100%. Check for a newer BIOS. The stock HSF for the 3800+ is not good enough for a duel core cpu. I suggest an aftermarket HSF. My 3800+ with the stock HSF...
