ATA channel ?

I looked under the device manager cause I was having problems burning stuff and i looked under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers menu and the primary and secondary things were gone and all that was left is my motherboard controller. How can I get the primary and secondary controllers back?

yeah I got the newest drivers from the ati website. What should I do with the settings on the card?

I changed the settings to higher performance and it works better, but now the problem is when i am playing halo the screen goes blank and the computer restarts. What could cause that?

Why do they make pci cards so good with 128 ddr if they suck so bad? The specs are the same for the pci and agp versions.

Is the new Intel chip or the AMD chip going to be better?

I have heard rumors that the new AMD chip is going to be better than the new Intel chip. Does anyone know anything about this?

Another way to get a good deal is to pricematch bestbuy with office max 115% price match and then use a $20 off $50 office depot coupon. Thats what I did because CUSA wouldn't match the price.
