Info:
I was a salaried employee from 1/1/09 - 7/31/09. While laid-off I started my own s-corp (in PA) for database/software consulting during Aug. I have a few expenses: incorporting, insurance, interview travel, separate phone (voip), and web domain. Probably less than $2000 out-of-pocket...
Yes. I should have stated that we went to the first garage for the clicking noise and fluid leak. I apologize if that wasn't clear. Anyway, they saw it was a trans issue and sent me to Cottman.
The clicking noise started during a President's Day vacation. I did not hear it when we left...
The first shop thought it was brake related too. They changed the rear pads and rotors, but the noise didn't go away. So they only charged me for parts not labor. I was warned about the brakes during last inspection, so I didn't complain too much.
I forgot to mention that this all...
Hi All:
My wife's DGC has an odd clicking noise between 0-20 mph while accelerating and 20-0 when decelerating with brake applied. The noise is similar to the clicking of money-wheels at fund-raiser picnics, or a playing-card in bicycle spokes (but much slower)
I took it to a local garage...
Hi all:
A few friends and I are heading to Greensboro, NC for the NCAA b-ball round 1 and 2 games during Mar-17 to Mar-22. A bunch of guys (all programmers), no wives/kids. We'll be staying about a mile from the Coliseum.
What are the good local restaurants (at least 1 good BBQ) ?
Any...
Hi all:
I have an IBM T41 (2379-DJU) that I purchased back in Dec 03. Recently the hard drive failed, thus taking my restore partition down with it.
I still have the Win XP Pro COA/product key, so would any OEM XP Pro cd allow me to reinstall my OS on an new drive using my current key...
Not to hijack the thread, but it's very quiet inside and a lot larger (201.5 in vs 181 in length difference). I've only had it for about 24 hours, so I haven't been able to drive it too much. Huge rear seat and trunk. By far, the best driver visibility of any car/cuv I test drove.
If you...
Subie's are great, but the new ones seem low on MPG for a 4-cyl, and trunk is way too small for anyone with kids, stroller, wheelchair, etc. Try for a 2008 Ford Taurus SEL with AWD, but probably $22 - 24K range. I just bought a Limited model to replace my 98 subie.
All:
I bought an Avocent USB/DVI kmv, and my PS/2 keyboard with a USB adapter did not work (Not unexpected). Anyone recommend a good WIRED usb keyboard that works with KVM switches?
Thanks
All:
I'm considering a used Precision 650 (2.4 Xeon, 1GB, 36GB 10K SCSI) from ebay. Could anyone out there comment on how loud this system may get under load? I know a 10K SCSI can be noisy, but I'm more concerned about the case and power supply fans. I don't really want a jet engine in...
Its a connective tissue disorder. The proteins that hold vessels, organs, muscle, and skin together are "defective". For example, my blood vessles are less resistant to tearing than a normal person. Most people with Marfan's are very tall and thin (think of Pres. Abe Lincoln), with longer...
We puchased a 2003 Grand Caravan Sport (March 03) after driving a 2003 Honda Oddessy. The Oddessy was certainly faster, but the DGC handled much better, and the seats were more comfortable. I don't remember what we paid for it. At the time a used Oddessy was maybe 15% cheaper than a new...
