Help! Finally get power supply in, and I think it's messed.

Well, that could be a possibility, but you'd still be limited by the resistance at the actual plug in that case (depending upon how nice of a plug it is, of course). That, and the fact that there's numerous +5V lines coming into the plug ... it just makes little sense that that particular plug...

Overclocking depends upon a lot of different variables, especially when your talking about the K8 architecture. Generally speaking, though, with solid cooling and decent RAM, you should be able to expect roughly 25% overclocking using nTune on a compatible and relatively high quality motherboard...

Negatory on that ... use a socket-driver, hex-head, something along those lines ... slip the nubby on the HSF into the driver and use that ... MUCH less chance of slippage! (not that this is directly applicable at all to the current thread, but thought I'd point it out)

How would I completely wipe my hard drive clean?

Yes, the video card needs to be in the slot closer to the CPU, as that's your x16 slot if you're running single-card video (p66 of the online manual). There might be some way to change this in the BIOS (I mean, there's plenty of other things in the BIOS you can change), but if there is I haven't...
