Wich one is the best 120 GB hard disk ?

I live in the Uk and use the same drive in my PC, and can only swear by it. It's EXTREMELY quite, is quite fast and to top it off has a good warranty. Also it is cheaper than most of the other brand names of similar performance. A piece of advice, don't buy the Hitachi IBM 180GXP. I had thought...

MSN Messenger profiles

At last, I've figured it out. All you have to do is to open your user account from control panel, and manage your network passwords. This shows a list of all the stored profiles, and you can delete as many as you like. Sorry to have bothered everyone.

New Video card

At 270, it does somewhat go over Chompman's budget. If he wants to stick to his budget, a 9700 NON-pro would be the best for him.

Hard drive...

I care to disagree with that comment. Both Maxtor and IBM make excellent hard drives, which rival both WD and Seagate. Each of the hard drives have their pros and cons (speed, sound, price etc.). The hard drive you get depends on your preferences and needs.

Any experience with Connect3D Video cards?

Windows setup software

I have just purchased 2 network cards and some cat 5 cable to link 2 PC's up directly. The problem seems to arise when one of my Pc's have Windows XP(Default Gateway) and the other has Windows 98SE(Client). My question was what piece of software would be best to use to auto-configure this?

Would you rather have 2x 512GB DDR PC2700 OR 2x 256 DDR PC3200 for 40 less....

I personally would go for the 1GB of ram, but that is cause I usually have a lot of programs open at the same time. However, if you are not gonna use many programs simultaneously, then you can just have the 512mb and save a bit of cash. At the end of the day, it all depends on what you use...
