I got the Sony Clie S320 from Dell.com by combining a coupon with 20% off Periph. and Acess. discount or something like that--cost me $135 shipped. I'm sure if you keep your eyes open (and if you get the Dell emails) you could score a similar deal. Clie is a solid PDA. Better than anything...

Quiet Case Fan Options

FWIW, I really like my Enhance (ENP-0730 I think..its 300W, but keeps up with those brands you mentioned). Got it from Newegg...holds steady voltage on everything, is quieter than any of my other fans (so i don't notice the noise), and I think its rated 220 combined....AMD approved for XP2000+...

Soltek DRV2 show fan readings <4K RPM?

I've got the Soltek SL-DRV2 and two case fans which both run sub-3000 RPM. For some reason, the monitor will report the speed of one at about 3000RPM always. The other fan is set to spin a bit slower...it doens't usually register in the hardware monitor (I'm guessing it spins at about...

I agree with the Soltek. I have one...stable for me, though I'm not currently overclocking. Soltek is probably cheaper, has a nice software bundle...and a handy temperature monitor. Only drawbacks...it may be hard to find in the US (but I think Newegg stocks it)...and it doesn't carry the big...

Don't worry too much about magnetic shielding, unless the speakers are RIGHT NEXT TO your monitor or case, or unless you use a ridiculously large subwoofer. Keep in mind that the magnet on a speaker is in the middle of the cone, which is in the middle of the box. This inherently sets a minimum...
