Watchguard XTM 810 vs Cisco ASA 5520 with SSM-AIP-20

I am a net admin at a small software company but we are growing fast. We use 4 x Watchguard x1250e's now and need to update and upgrade. Can anyone give me how these two compare in just pure speed? We wont be using any add-ons (content filters, etc) so we just need pure speed, capacity, etc...

Bigger problem, my desktop is not connecting at all!

That should work just fine. I would reset the router to default settings and redo the config. Plus, make sure you aren't using the WAN port.

lossless audio

If you have good audio equipment its quite easy. But if you're trying to tell the difference using some sweet Sony speakers, then I agree.

Agreed. Bi-amping is only worth even looking into if you are trying to push way more then 1 amp can push out AND have high end equipment.

Can't you hook a Cat5 between two computers to trade files?

You need a crossover cable unless they are Gb NICs. BTW two not too. :)
